Zealand Blend is our version of the
New Zealand-grown forages popular in
deer plots throughout the country.
All of the crops in this mix are used
on commercial venison farms in New
Zealand. Forage type rapes, kale, and
clover combine to make a cold tolerant,
nutritious, and palatable food plot.
This mix has a very high seed count--over
250,000 seeds per pound. Allowed to
reseed and given adequate moisture
you can expect years of Fall, Winter
and Spring forage. Plant 4 lbs per
1/2 acre on a well- prepared seedbed
and no deeper than 1/4 inch.
