Blend, our premier blend, contains
the perennial Prairie Brome Grass.
We like Prairie Brome Grass because
it is very palatable and maintains
it's very high nutritional value much
longer than other grasses. Time and
time again our customers tell us that
deer select Prairie Brome Grass from
the plots to graze. We combine Prairie
Brome Grass with forage rape, forage
clovers and chicory for a smorgasboard
of deer favorites. Allowed to reseed
and with adequate moisture this blend
will provide years of highly nutritious
grazing. Plant no more than 1/4 inch
deep in a well-prepared seedbed. Mow
after seed heads mature to hasten new
growth. Four pounds will plant 1/2
acre.
