Our Spring Wildlife Mix is blended to keep wildlife on your plot after the Fall & Winter plots are dormant and competition from natural browse is the greatest. This mix works for deer, turkey and wild hogs. The combination of chufas, forage peas, and lablab is an outstanding blend. Few naturally occurring or cultivated plants will provide the palatable, nutritious graze this mix will.

This blend works best when planted in areas that have at least 180 frost free days and should be planted after danger of frost. Be sure not to plant to deep--no more than 1/2 inch--into a well-prepared seedbed. Apply a lower nitrogen fertilizer like 8-24-24 at about 300 lbs. per acre. Ten pounds of Spring Wildlife Mix will plant 1/4 acre.
